Dr. Albert Carlotti, known as “Dr. Al,” is a second-generation surgeon. He was born in Providence, Rhode Island, and then attended the University of Vermont for college. His original career path was to become a Craniofacial Surgeon, for which surgeons require both a dental and medical degree. Dr. Carlotti graduated from the University of Maryland Dental School, then later from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. He completed his Internship in General Surgery and Residency at Parkland Hospital, also in Dallas, Texas, which was followed by a one-year Fellowship in Facial & Body Cosmetic Surgery. As an artist, his passion for cosmetic surgery led him to a career primarily in elective cosmetic surgery, although he still performs some Cranial procedures in his practice today.

“Dr. Al” practiced in Scottsdale, Arizona, and Austin, Texas, exclusively in cosmetic surgery since 2002, treating over 30,000 patients in his career so far. Last year, he moved back to the East Coast to be near the water and to enjoy the phenomenal lifestyle of South Florida in the West Palm Beach area.

As a current member of the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and past president of the Cosmetic Surgery Foundation, Dr. Carlotti stays very active and current in the field of Cosmetic Surgery. He lectures annually on the international level on Facial and Body Cosmetic Surgery and has authored many lectures, articles, and book chapters on Cosmetic Surgery. The focus of these meetings is always on best practices, patient safety, and the latest innovations in the field.

“Dr. Al” provides full services in Cosmetic Surgery. His relaxed and professional style focuses on earnestly listening to the patient’s concerns, tailoring a specific treatment plan for his patients, and then seamlessly implementing that plan.

As the proud father of two adult daughters, “Dr. Al” travels frequently between Austin and New York, where they both live. Wanderlust, or the love of traveling, is one of his and his fiancé Jessica’s greatest passions. The loving pair are also avid fitness athletes. Dr. Al has competed in bodybuilding for many years and holds one world record and five state records as a powerlifter. When not at the office, you can often find him at the gym or one of the many great local restaurants. His passions for fine wines & cuisines and elegant South Florida living are a constant every weekend!
