Dr. Scott Brenman

Dr. Scott Brenman is a board-certified plastic surgeon serving thousands of patients from Philadelphia and the surrounding Delaware Valley for over 35 years. He has maintained strong academic connections to the University of Pennsylvania and Temple University and has helped train dozens of plastic surgery fellows from both institutions. Dr. Brenman is a Philadelphia native and is a graduate with honors from Jefferson Medical College. He completed his general surgical residency at Pennsylvania Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania Health System, followed by a plastic surgery residency at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Brenman also completed a fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery at the University of Louisville before returning to Philadelphia in 1989 to begin his career, where he continues to focus his efforts on state-of-the-art aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, breasts, and body.

Dr. Brenman is a diplomate of the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has been named "Top Doc" by Philadelphia Magazine as the best cosmetic surgeon for women. Though plastic surgery is his passion, he has helped high-level athletes through applied sports medicine, serving as a plastic surgeon at the Women's World Cup in soccer. A strong love of the mountains and mountaineering also led him to serve as team physician on numerous high-altitude climbing expeditions in Europe, North and South America, and Asia. Now, Dr. Brenman spends his free time playing bass in a blues band, on the snow skiing or on the water sailing, power boating, and kayaking. Most of all, he loves sharing time with his wife, Kathy, their five children, and their young growing families.

He believes that the best possible outcome is the only acceptable outcome, and this comes from carefully listening to his patients' needs, followed by a thorough evaluation, an honest explanation of the options, and the delivery of exceptional care.
