Dr. Chau was among the first surgeons trained by Dr. Alfredo Hoyos in High-Definition Liposculpting in 2007. Dr. Barak Tanzman
As a highly skilled and experienced plastic surgeon, Dr. Barak Tanzman combines artistic vision with technical proficiency. After completing his undergraduate and medical school training at Ohio University, he continued to a five-year general surgery residency before further honing his expertise through a fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery at the renowned Henry Ford Hospital. With 15+ years of experience in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Tanzman understands the significant psychological and social implications of self-image. He values each individual's inherent beauty and takes the time to comprehend patients' specific needs. With his unique foundation in the arts, Dr. Tanzman has continued to hone his liposculpting skills by studying with some of the most prominent liposuction surgeons in the world, including Dr. Alfredo Hoyos in Colombia. With his continued specialized focus, Dr. Tanzman provides the highest level of results for his patients.
Dr. Maristella Evangelista
Dr. Evangelista is a board-certified plastic surgeon with advanced training from top institutions, including the University of California, Irvine and the University of California, San Francisco. She has trained with internationally recognized leaders in both aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, giving her expertise that spans the full spectrum of plastic surgery — from complex breast reconstruction to advanced cosmetic procedures.

Dr. Jeffrey DeSano
Dr. Jeffrey DeSano is a board-certified Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon who believes that plastic surgery should improve a patient's quality of life and self-confidence. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan, graduating with High Honors. He then went on to attend medical school at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He returned to the Metro Detroit area to pursue his surgical training in general surgery through Michigan State University. He subsequently completed his Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency at Beaumont Health - Royal Oak/Farmington Hills.

Our office is conveniently located near the corner of Woodward Avenue and Bowers Street, just a 10-minute drive from the Detroit Zoo. You'll find the main building entrance on Woodward Avenue, beneath the Huntington National Bank sign. If you park in the garage, take the office and retail elevator to reach our fifth-floor suite. Parking is complimentary with validation. We're also within walking distance of downtown Birmingham, where you'll find a variety of shops, restaurants, movie theaters, parks, and more. For visitors from the west, take I-696 E to exit 12, then follow Southfield Road to S Old Woodward Avenue.
