Most cases of gynecomastia or swelling of male breast tissue are caused by an imbalance in hormones, typically due to one's genetic composition. Environmental factors, diet, hormones, and recreational drug use can also contribute to its formation. 

The AirSculpt Male Breast Reduction was explicitly designed to help men sculpt stubborn fat in this region. Excess breast tissue, however, cannot be excised with this gynecomastia liposuction approach.

AirSculpt specializes in permanently removing fat and revealing a sculpted, muscular chest. Patients are still encouraged to engage in routine exercise after treatment to maintain their results, but a toned appearance will be achieved no matter what. It should be noted that we will not remove loose skin or glandular tissue, as we focus on eliminating excess fat primarily. 

AirSculpt only works in the subcutaneous fat layer and never affects one's glands. It should be noted that we are strictly a fat removal procedure and do not remove excess glandular tissue.

An entry point is made right underneath each chest on the front of the torso and another underneath each armpit. These entry points are made with a specialized biopsy punch tool that seamlessly creates a minuscule, two-millimeter-wide entryway instead of the painful scalpels and large incisions used in gynecomastia liposuction.

Because AirSculpt only requires a minuscule entryway two millimeters wide, the small incision heals far more quickly and seamlessly than traditional gynecomastia lipo. Patients do not require stitches, and once fully healed, their perfectly symmetrical scars wind up looking like tiny freckles. 

Fat removed during an AirSculpt® session is permanently removed and will not come back to that body part. If you gain weight after your procedure, the fat will appear anywhere but the treated area, so your new proportions tend to be preserved even in this scenario. We, therefore, recommend a healthy diet and exercise following your AirSculpt® treatment.

​No, you will not lose sensitivity in the pubic area or any area after AirSculpt. This technology only operates within the subcutaneous fat layer, meaning it automatically turns off before contacting anything else like nerves or muscles.

Patients can begin taking walks right away after their male chest reduction and resume strenuous activity after about two to three weeks, pending surgeon approval. Because only local anesthesia is used along with our delicate technique, patients can return to work as soon as the next day.
