Our Nashville Surgeons

Dr. Esteban Marten

Dr. Marten has nearly ten years of experience as an aesthetic plastic surgeon and has performed over 1,750 body contouring procedures. He is known for his meticulous attention to detail. Dr. Marten says, “I enjoy sculpting the human body and witnessing how it can change people’s lives.” He holds an ivy-league degree from Cornell University and graduated from Tulane University Medical School. He completed his general surgery residency at Tulane Medical Center and his plastic surgery residency at the famed Cleveland Clinic. He then pursued more specialized training in cosmetic surgery of the face, breast, and body during his aesthetic fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. He is double board-certified in plastic surgery and general surgery and is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Marten enjoys running, tennis, and spending time with his son. He has two native languages, English and Spanish.

Dr. Carey Nease

Carey J. Nease, MD, is a triple board-certified, fellowship-trained Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon with extensive expertise in body-focused aesthetic procedures. He performs a variety of surgeries with a particular skill in enhancing and rejuvenating the body's natural contours and appearance. Having trained as an artist before turning to medicine, Dr. Nease is renowned for his unique ability to paint beautiful portraits with his hands. Dr. Nease is certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the American Board of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery.

Dr. Obi Ezeamuzie

Dr Ezeamuzie is a General Surgery, Surgical Critical Care, and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery trained Surgeon. He specializes in cosmetic surgery of the breast and body and has extensive liposculpting and fat transfer experience. He spent a year at New York University focused on novel fat grafting techniques and survival research and was awarded the Prestigious Plastic Surgery Foundation (PSF) Pilot Award. He has authored and presented multiple plastic surgery research papers. He’s an advocate for patient safety and believes in a collaborative effort between a patient and their surgeon to achieve a durable and beautiful aesthetic outcome. He enjoys traveling and has done multiple medical missions in Kenya and India with Cleft Lip/Cleft Palate Patients as well as burn victims. He is an Avid College Football and Soccer Fan.

Dr. Alisha Jefferson

Dr. Alisha Jefferson is a dual board-certified cosmetic surgeon and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She is known for her precise surgical technique and patient-centered approach. Dr. Jefferson holds degrees from Johns Hopkins University and the Medical University of South Carolina.

Dr. Jefferson completed her general surgery residency and went on to receive advanced fellowship training in cosmetic surgery in Nashville. With a strong foundation in science, surgical skill, and aesthetics, she delivers refined, natural-looking results tailored to each patient’s goals.
