Brian Bassiri-Tehrani, MD is a double board certified plastic surgeon with over ten years of rigorous training and experience. He is Board-Certified by both The American Board of Plastic Surgery and The American Board of Surgery. He has advanced training in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery with extensive experience in awake liposuction and body contouring procedures for men and women. Dr. Bassiri-Tehrani specializes in fat transfer, post-pregnancy, post-weight loss and male contouring procedures.

A native New Yorker, Dr. Brian Bassiri-Tehrani completed his undergraduate studies at The City College of New York before earning his medical degree from Medical School at Stony Brook University, School of Medicine. He trained in General Surgery in New York City at Lenox Hill Hospital, Northwell Health, following his internship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He went on to complete his Plastic Surgery Residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and further specialized in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery during his fellowship in Atlanta under world-renowned plastic surgeons, Dr. Foad Nahai and Dr. Farzad Nahai.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Bassiri-Tehrani has authored numerous publications and presented innovative research at international plastic surgery conferences. He currently serves as a peer reviewer and the Next Generation Editor at the Aesthetic Surgery Journal, the leading peer-reviewed publication in the field of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
