Having been fortunate enough to grow-up and live a majority of my life in beautiful Newport Beach, I was aware of plastic surgery; however, my first real exposure to plastic surgery was during a trip to rural Guatemala during college summer-break. I was able to join a group of surgeons who diligently and compassionately cared for patients, performing life-changing surgeries. But it was not until later during my medical education that I truly realized and appreciated the profound impact plastic surgery has on individuals and their families. My interest in the field continued to grow throughout my extensive education where it developed into a passion for helping restore confidence and a sense of self for patients.

I received my undergraduate degree at the University of Southern California in both Biology and Spanish, after which I moved to Buenos Aires for a year to conduct HIV & tuberculosis research in a state-funded immunology laboratory. I then returned to the US and attended graduate school at Georgetown University, earning a Master of Science (MS) in Biophysics and Physiology. I received my medical degree (MD) from Albany Medical College, graduating in the top 10% of my class, and had the honor of being inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Albany Medical College Chapter and Gold Humanism Honor Society. I completed six years of training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with the Department of Plastic Surgery at the University of California, Irvine, which afforded me the most comprehensive training in the country.

I am Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic surgery and am dedicated to restoring a sense of self for patients, helping people age gracefully by enhancing, not changing, one’s natural appearance. Or bringing back that pre-baby body! As a woman, I can appreciate the needs of women in the community and look forward to connecting to you on a relatable level!
