Dr. Kashyap completed fellowship training in reconstructive microsurgery at Johns Hopkins University. He later served as Assistant Professor and Director of Microsurgery at the University of Oklahoma, while concurrently holding leadership roles within the affiliated VA Health Care System. In these positions, he oversaw resident education, surgical program development, and contributed extensively to peer-reviewed surgical literature.
In recent years, Dr. Kashyap’s clinical focus has evolved toward aesthetic and body contouring surgery. Prior to joining Sono Bello in Austin, Texas, he refined his cosmetic expertise in private aesthetic practice. His current work emphasizes AirSculpt®-style body contouring, liposuction, abdominoplasty, breast surgery, and facial aesthetics, with consistent attention to safety, proportion, and natural-appearing outcomes.
Beyond the operating room, Dr. Kashyap remains dedicated to surgical education, innovation, and the advancement of techniques that integrate reconstructive precision with aesthetic refinement. Patients can expect not only technical excellence, but also empathy, transparency, and respect throughout every stage of care.
