Dr. Elena Vega was born and raised in Fresno, California, and received her undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. She then attended medical school at Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Vallejo, California. Dr. Vega completed her general surgery residency at Flushing Hospital Medical Center in Flushing, New York. Following the completion of her residency, she acquired the highly sought-after accredited fellowship position in general body and facial cosmetic surgery at New Look New Life Cosmetic Surgical Arts® in New York City, accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
Dr. Vega has specialized in awake body sculpting and fat transfers for the past nine years. Her mission is to provide completely customized procedures to ensure you look your best in the most natural way possible. She is dedicated to learning about her patients and how as a team, they can achieve the highest level of satisfaction.

When Dr. Vega is not seeing patients or performing procedures, she considers herself a foodie and loves eating delicious cuisines at home as her wife is an amazing cook, and together, they enjoy frequenting local restaurants. She loves getting into a great television series, watching movies, and being physically active… gym time, anyone? Dr. Vega lives in Charlotte, NC, with her wife, Victoria, and dog, Olive. She has two adult sons, Aamon and Talla, who are living their best lives. She sees herself as a permanent fixture of the Queen City!
