Dr. Nicholas Lahar is a highly personable, competent, outstandingly trained, and compassionate plastic surgeon. He is here to listen and to help you achieve your goals.

Dr. Lahar, who grew up in the Washington, D.C. suburbs, knew he wanted to be a world-class surgeon when he was in high school. He always excelled in the sciences and attained an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and his M.D. from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. He honed his surgical skills in general surgery and plastic surgery during his top-tier residency at UCLA in Los Angeles, becoming double board certified.

Dr. Lahar spent another year perfecting his aesthetic surgical skills at the top aesthetic fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Lahar’s mentors have established a national and international reputation for training the next generation of plastic surgery leaders, providing clinical excellence, and conducting groundbreaking research.

In the wrong hands, plastic surgery can lead to an overly “done” look or, even worse, a disfigurement that requires revision surgery. Dr. Lahar has the optimal blend of technical proficiency and artistic eye needed to create beautiful and natural-looking results.

When not in the operating room, Dr. Lahar can be found spending time with his young family and doing Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.
