Dr. Robert Paresi

Chicago area board-certified plastic surgeon Robert Paresi, M.D., combines years of experience, an artistic eye for perfection, and unrelenting compassion to create an outstanding patient experience and exceptional results. Known for his friendly demeanor and professional rapport with patients, Dr. Paresi is truly passionate about plastic surgery. He works closely with his patients in the greater Chicago area to evaluate their specific needs and desires and develops the most appropriate course of treatment. Whether he is performing missionary work overseas, presenting in front of other surgeons, or publishing invaluable articles relating to plastic surgery, he exemplifies the best of what plastic surgery has to offer.
While Dr. Paresi is an all-around, accomplished plastic surgeon, he offers his patients his own set of unique skills. Dr. Paresi specializes in facelifts, neck lifts, rhinoplasties, laser liposuction, tummy tucks, breast augmentations and lifts, and body contouring procedures for patients with significant weight loss. He has over ten years of experience in cosmetic surgery and 10,000 treatments to his credit.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Dr. Paresi attended State University of New York at Geneseo, where he earned his B.S. in Biology. At the University of Rochester, he earned his Master’s in Public Health. Dr. Paresi then attended medical school at St. George’s University School of Medicine, earning his M.D. in 2000. Following medical school, Dr. Paresi completed a 5-year general surgery residency at Monmouth Medical Center in New Jersey. He then completed a plastic surgery fellowship at Rush University Medical Center. Dr. Paresi finished his training at Lenox Hill Hospital/Manhattan Eye, Ear, Throat Hospital (MEETH) in New York City, where he specialized in cosmetic surgery and trained with many world-renowned surgeons in the field of cosmetic surgery.

Dr. Paresi has the special distinction of being double board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. Since 2011, Dr. Paresi has been a reviewer for the esteemed Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Journal. He has 13 peer-reviewed articles to his credit and has presented at numerous medical conferences. With his commitment to service, Dr. Paresi has served as a medical missionary to Guatemala twice to work on children with deformities, burns, and birth defects.
