Dr. Chung is a board-certified plastic surgeon with over 24 years of experience. He completed his plastic surgery training at the prestigious Johns Hopkins Hospital and was extensively trained in reconstructive microsurgery and aesthetic surgery. He has participated in numerous research projects and authored multiple publications in world-renowned plastic surgery journals. Dr. Chung has been recognized with countless awards and accolades, including the America's Top Plastic Surgeons Award.

After training, Dr. Chung served in the U.S. Navy as a plastic and reconstructive surgeon and had the honor and privilege of performing reconstructive care on countless casualties returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. He also participated in numerous global humanitarian missions in underserved countries aboard the U.S. Navy hospital ships. For Dr. Chung, it has truly been a joy to see all the precious smiles around the world of those he had the opportunity to care for.
