5 Factors That Affect The Cost of AirSculpt®
AirSculpt® pricing can vary greatly depending on various factors, beginning with the size and number of treated areas. One constant factor across all treatments is that this patented technology offers a premium body contouring experience unrivaled on the current market.
All AirSculpt® procedures offer permanent results in a single session, which prevents you from having to return for costly follow-ups. Patients always stay awake, eliminating any anesthesiologist fees. Furthermore, patients achieve their desired changes on the first try because this technology delivers precise results with an automated technique that plucks fat cell by cell. The manual tools used with traditional liposuction, by contrast, often leave patients in need of a revision procedure due to uneven or imprecise amounts of fat removed.
Below, we'll review some of the primary factors that affect the price of an AirSculpt® treatment.
The Size of the Body Parts Treated
AirSculpt® can be performed on almost any body part where excess unwanted fat is found, including the chin, bra rolls, stomach, flanks, inner and outer thighs, arms, and subgluteal area.
Larger areas are generally more pricey to treat than small body parts.
The Quantity of Fat Removed
If you have a large amount of fat removed, your procedure will take longer than one where less fat is removed, resulting in a higher cost. Additionally, patients who target multiple areas end up requiring more entry points and a greater quantity of fat to be removed. These factors result in a more lengthy procedure, adding to the total price.
Whether You Will Also Undergo a Fat Transfer
Unlike the fat melted during laser liposuction procedures, AirSculpt® delicately harvests fat in an automated manner that minimizes shearing and other potential damage to fat cells. Their surgeons can thus transfer fat to other body parts where you want to add natural volume.
Combining your fat removal procedure with a fat transfer will usually add $5,000 to the total, but this can also vary on a case-by-case basis. The total amount of fat removed and transferred affects the total cost, meaning smaller fat transfers like the Hip Flip™ may cost less than a Power BBL™.
Your Geographical Location
While pricing is generally consistent across our different body contouring offices, larger cities may cost more due to higher living costs, labor costs, and overall demand.
The Aftercare Process
AirSculpt® consultations and compression garments are always free of charge. Plus, since most patients return to their daily routines within one to two days, you likely won't have to take weeks off work as traditional liposuction would require. Since this is a less invasive procedure, no general anesthesia is needed, so your medical bill will not increase.
That said, antibiotics and painkillers will need to be purchased to reduce bruising and swelling during recovery. These will not add to the total price too much, however.
