Exploring What 360 Lipo Is and Includes

In general terms, liposuction is a cosmetic procedure that extracts fat cells from an area of the body. Patients do so to attain a slimmer appearance, a smoother contour, and a more toned profile.

There's also a procedure called 360 lipo on the market. It differs from traditional liposuction because it claims to treat the '360' degrees of the abdomen.

It simultaneously targets multiple areas of the abdomen from the front of the belly to the waist and backside, resulting in a more comprehensive and efficient process.

The Benefits Of Lipo 360

The main benefit of Lipo 360 is that its results are more widespread than its targeted counterpart.

Traditional liposuction focuses on a single area at a time, focusing more on the amount of fat removed than preserving the proportions of the body.

This circumferential liposuction produces better results for those that want a better-shaped body in less time.

How Many Areas Can Lipo 360 Sculpt?

Lipo 360 is a liposuction procedure that covers all midsection areas, covering 360 degrees.

The treatment areas are the upper and lower abdominals, the obliques, and the back's mid and lower portions.

How Long Is The Recovery Time?

With Lipo 360, the overall recovery is moderate. Downtime lasts a few days, with patients being able to return to their daily activities in just a few days.

Nevertheless, Lipo 360 is a surgical procedure, meaning that the time for recovery will vary from patient to patient. Therefore, to get a more accurate view of the process, consult with your surgeon.

It is also always a good idea that you follow your physician's post-operative instructions to a tee.

The Option Better Than 360 Lipo

While Lipo 360 has shown more significant advances compared to traditional liposuction, it still often requires invasive properties that introduce added risks, like general anesthesia.

AirSculpt® treatments at Elite Body Sculpture are well regarded due to their innovative ability to remove fat from several parts of the body.

It can be considered a more refined version of Lipo 360 that isn't limited to the abdomen and backside at all.

AirSculpt® uses a much less invasive technique that requires no scalpel, needle, stitches, or general anesthesia, enabling us to treat multiple areas without a problem.

Patients looking to target 360 degrees around their abdomen and another separate area or get a fat transfer can do so seamlessly with AirSculpt® and still get back to work within just one to two days.

How Does AirSculpt® Function?

An AirSculpt® treatment first uses the AirPen to numb the patient's treatment site. The AirPen is a device that uses pressurized air to administer numbing medication, skipping the painful needles characteristic of traditional lipo.

After the area has been numbed, the providers use a biopsy punch to form a symmetrical two-millimeter opening on the body, which ultimately looks like a mere freckle post-procedure.

Once the fat is ready to be extracted, the provider uses the patented AirSculpt® device to pluck fat cells one by one with a mechanical motion designed to remove fat and protect surrounding tissue efficiently.

Patients are asked to take daily walks as soon as possible, ideally within a day of treatment. Most can return to the gym after about two weeks, which is significantly shorter than other fat removal techniques.

For more information on how we offer you the best fat removal results, patients in the midwest can head to Elite Body Sculpture Chicago for their first consultation.
