Deoxycholic acid uses a series of needles injected into your chin to dissolve submental fat cells over time. Deoxycholic Acid has only been approved by the FDA for submental fat—that under the neck and chin. It's often still used unsanctioned for other areas of the body, and patients should be wary of such propositions by physicians.

We do not recommend getting injectable lipolysis treatments before getting AirSculpt.

Following the instructions provided to you is the best way to prevent infection. We provide our patients with antibiotics before their treatment and for the following two weeks to lower the chances of infection. 

AirSculpt naturally leaves the skin tighter than before, but this is not an explicit skin tightening procedure. Patients who need extra fat removed and some minor skin tightening would be great candidates for AirSculpt alone. Those with more significant loose skin concerns can receive AirSculpt+, our dedicated skin tightening procedure.
