Dr. Manuel Trujillo
Dr. Manuel Trujillo is an Emory-educated, board-certified plastic surgeon. After completing a fellowship in Georgia, he relocated back to the Carolinas to continue his career. He has extensive history in general and plastic surgery, which includes reconstructive microsurgery and supermicrosurgery.

As an MUSC SHEC Assistant professor, Dr. Trujillo is extremely passionate about the advancement of health care and has been involved in many projects that have resulted in improvements in patient care.

Dr. Trujillo is a distinguished plastic surgeon known for his unwavering dedication to precision and meticulous attention to detail. With a passion for achieving the most natural and harmonious results, he invests ample time in each consultation and procedure.

Dr. Trujillo’s commitment to excellence and personalized approach make him a trusted choice for patients seeking transformative and carefully crafted outcomes in the realm of plastic surgery. Outside of the surgical setting, Dr Trujillo enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, and on weekends, he can be found enjoying football with friends and family.

Dr. Vega is a board-certified cosmetic surgeon by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery and a board-certified general surgeon by the American Board of Osteopathic Surgery. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and a diplomate of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. In addition, Dr. Vega loves to teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows, sharing her knowledge and skillset to help them reach their professional goals.
