Fat Removal
How Much Fat Can AirSculpt® Procedures Remove?

AirSculpt® procedures represent the next generation of body sculpting, capable of removing large amounts of fat from patients without the grueling recovery typical after liposuction.
Specifically, this patented fat removal process avoids the invasive surgical techniques used in traditional liposuction surgery; instead, we go the extra mile to use proprietary tools and techniques that ensure precision and comfort for our patients.
For instance, fat removal with AirSculpt® doesn't use scalpels, needles, stitches, or general anesthesia. Yet, a misconception exists about using these specialized tools; people tend to assume that minimally invasive procedures can't remove significant amounts of fat. While that's true, for other methods, AirSculpt® can still produce dramatic results by removing large quantities of fat up to the legal limit in the state where the treatment occurs.
Keep reading to discover how much fat this body contouring technique can remove and how many areas can be targeted at once.
How Much Fat Can AirSculpt® Remove?
AirSculpt® procedures can remove up to the legal limit of the specific state where the treatment is performed. Most states have a limit of five liters, although some, like Florida, have a lower limit of four liters.
Smaller surface areas, such as the arms or thighs, seldom amount to five liters, but the tummy and the back can easily reach this amount. For patients with large amounts of stubborn fat, AirSculpt® can remove up to the state limit without issue.
As the cosmetic surgeon and inventor of AirSculpt, Dr. Aaron Rollins, details in the video above, the limit of five liters can apply to several body parts, not just one. For example, patients can treat up to five different areas at once, removing up to the state's legal limit.
AirSculpt® Procedures Offer A Quality Investment
Our procedures begin with the AirPen, which uses pressurized air to administer numbing medication without a needle.
Afterward, a biopsy punch is used on the treatment area to form a miniature, two-millimeter-sized hole that doesn't produce large scarring. This biopsy punch step removes the need for invasive scalpels!
What makes AirSculpt® procedures unique is our cannula. Traditional cannulas in liposuction use a scraping technique to remove fat from the body, while our automated cannula uses a plucking motion to slim your body safely.
It gets better. The recovery time is much shorter than traditional procedures, allowing you to show off your results in no time. And best yet, because the entry point is so tiny, it heals on its own without stitches.
